In the 1960s, Suellen Rocca and five other artists formed the groundbreaking artist collective the Hairy Who, known for their powerfully graphic images, brazen sense of humor, and embrace of popular culture. Join the museum for a special talk by Rocca, Director of Exhibitions at Elmhurst College and curator of The Figure and the Chicago Imagists, in which she offers a first-person account of her experiences as part of Chicago’s art scene in the 1960s and 70s.

This venue is wheelchair accessible.
