Join guest curator Maggie Taft for an insightful exploration of Into the City: Art in Chicago. This exhibition considers some of the themes, issues, and conventions that emerge and re-emerge in Chicago art production, and how the city itself has shaped this creative output. This exhibition also connects with the forthcoming publication Art in Chicago: A History from the Fire to Now, co-edited by Taft, on the history of artistic practice in Chicago.
