Join us for a curator-led tour of A Home for Surrealism: Fantastic Painting in Mid-Century Chicago, an exhibition examining a select group of painters who planted domestic roots for the surrealist idiom in the 1940s and 1950s. Janine Mileaf offers background on how European Surrealism first landed in Chicago and shares insights into the lives and practices of the featured artists.
