Chicago Film Archives presents “Personal Legacies: Materiality and Abstraction,” a program of personal and experimental films created by artists who worked for major Chicago design studios and corporations.

Films include Robert Stiegler’s Capitulation (1965), Larry Janiak’s Adams Film (1963), and Byron Grush’s Fotogrammar (1969).

Daniel Bashara (Department of Cinema and Media Studies, DePaul University) will introduce the films and moderate a post-screening conversation.

This event is free and open to the public. This venue is wheelchair accessible.
