Join community-based artists from the neighborhoods of Bronzeville and Little Village as they discuss the impact of immigration and migration (in particular, The Great Migration and Mexican immigration to Chicago) on Chicago fiber artistry in addition to the contributions of fiber arts and artists to social movements. The program features a discussion between Chicago-based artists Nettie Nesbary, Lettie Sabbs, Lilly Torres, and Adriana Peña about the ways in which their works connect past and present social movements. 

This program is presented by the Chicago Cultural Alliance in collaboration with the Bronzeville Historical Society and OPEN Center for the Arts.
