Interactive Story/Text Based Game Making Workshop

Gallery 400, University of Illinois at Chicago

400 South Peoria Street, Chicago, Illinois 60607

Example of a project edited in Twine

In this workshop presented in conjunction with the Video Game Art Gallery’s (VGA) exhibition, Chicago New Media 1973–1992, and led by VGA teaching artist Eden Unluata-Foley, participants learn how to use Twine, a simple tool for making text-based games or interactive nonlinear stories. Attendees discover how interactive narratives differ from other media and work on creating their own. No programming experience required.

This event is free and open to the public.
