Join us for an evening of jazz performed by singer/songwriter Maggie Brown and her sister Africa Brown, daughters of the Chicago entertainer and social activist Oscar Brown, Jr. The performance also includes a live artist activation in which Juarez Hawkins, curator of Bill Walker: Urban Griot, will paint live.
This performance is the closing event for Bill Walker: Urban Griot, on display at the Hyde Park Art Center through April 8.
This event is free and open to the public. This venue is wheelchair accessible.
